FREE Digital Parents Program

Padres Digitales (Digital Parents) is a FREE bilingual digital literacy program designed to teach essential computer literacy skills that can help adults in their everyday lives and careers.

We have now created a bilingual video series called Padres Digitales that delivers step-by-step instructions on how to navigate the internet and implement essential computer and digital skills.

This series of videos covers the following topics:

  • How to use Zoom
  • Computer File Organization
  • Email Communication
  • Internet Safety
  • Grocery and Food Delivery
  • Virtual Financial Tools
  • Use of Relevant Applications on a Mobile Device

Access to the videos is completely FREE and asynchronous. They can be found on our YouTube Channel, as well as our Website Tab under Digital Resources.

Don’t forget to join our Facebook Group where hundreds of other Digital Parents participants will have access to updates, resources, and announcements!

Upon completion of the program, participants will receive a certificate outlining their accomplishments as a credential signed off by Latinitas and other supporting partners, and will be given post-program resources.

Additionally, participants that submit a survey after completing the video series are eligible to receive a FREE computer. This survey will gauge complete participation, so viewing all 15 videos is necessary!

We hope that by bridging the gap between generations within this digital literacy program, we create stronger bonds between participants that allow parents to feel more confident in their working computer knowledge skills.
