Adhara Perez Sanchez

With a dream of working forย NASAย someday, a 12-year prodigy from Mexico City has taken the world of STEM by storm with her genuine IQ higher than Einstein and Steven Hawking. Adhara Perez Sanchez is a young Mexican girl who already has achieved 2 degrees in both systems and industrial engineering and is currently working towards a masterโ€™s degree in mathematics from the Technological University of Mexico. At the age of 3, Sanzhez was diagnosed with autism and struggled with her schoolwork while also experiencing bullying from her fellow classmates at the same time, causing her to switch schools more than once. Despite the challenges she has faced, Sanchez has been able to successfully navigate through her condition and has been a source of inspiration for other young Latinos out there in the field of STEM and beyond. Sanchez has also already appeared on the front covers of magazines such as Marie Claire Mexico and continues to make waves in the media most notably for her genius IQ at around 162 or so.

Sanchez is currently working with theย Mexican Space Agencyย as an ambassador in STEM and dreams of one day working with NASA. She has stated multiple times her interest in exploring Mars. While extremely intelligent, Sanchez has experienced multiple health-related issues including a seizure and stint in a coma around the age of 7, but continues to work passionately towards her education and career goals despite her health scares. An inspiration to all, Sanchezโ€™s story proves that with hard work and determination, anyone can fulfill their dreams of becoming what they want to be. One notable appearance Sanchez has made to date includes her acting as a panelist at the Mexico Aerospace Fair, where she inspired other women to navigate toward careers in the STEM field.ย
