Club Latinitas
Club Latinitas operates in multiple schools including Wright Elementary, Gillette Elementary, Wells Middle School, and Leal Middle School within Harlandale ISD, as well as at Empower House on the Eastside of San Antonio.
This program emphasizes media, technology, and self-empowerment, offering hands-on, age-appropriate activities that span various STEM fields such as physics, civil engineering, mechanical engineering, chemistry, and computer science. These activities are crafted to ignite curiosity and inspire exploration in students.
Padres Digitales
Additionally, the Padres Digitales program, hosted at the SOSA Parent Engagement Center within Harlandale ISD, is dedicated to enhancing digital literacy among parents.
It covers essential technology skills such as creating email accounts, using video conferencing tools, and accessing parent portals to track student progress. By equipping parents with these skills, Padres Digitales aims to foster a supportive ecosystem that contributes to the academic success of all students, particularly girls, in the community.
