Camp Latinitas is coming back for summer 2022! Latinitas camps are where art, expression, technology and advocacy intersect. Girls and non binary students ages 9-14 with a desire to innovate and express themselves in fun, creative ways through media and technology are invited to join Latinitas to learn about filmmaking, types of technology, cultural arts, health and wellness and more – all while making friends and meeting interesting, inspiring mentors from a variety of backgrounds.
We are offering 5 weeks of camp, each with a different theme! Camps will be both virtual AND in-person.
- Cine Chica: exploring storytelling through video and other media
- Design Chica: UX/UI, graphic and web design, fashion and wearable technology
- Power Chica: entrepreneurship, social advocacy and leadership training)
- Healthy Chica: using technology and media to explore health & wellness, nutrition and self-care.
- Game Chica: exploring social issues through video game creation.
Camps cost $50/week for virtual, $200/ week for in-person, with limited need based scholarships available (full and partial).
