Latinitas Interim Executive Director, Gabriela Kane Guardia, and Communications Director, Salwa Yordi, had the honor of attending the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute (CHCI) conference. This annual gathering served as a dynamic convergence point for a diverse and influential cohort of leaders, policymakers, and advocates, all hailing from different corners of the Hispanic community. It was a forum where impassioned voices came together to address pressing issues impacting Hispanic communities and the broader nation.
The experience was made even more exceptional by the opportunity to showcase the remarkable work of Latinitas and our valuable partnership with JCPenney. Being able to share our mission and initiatives with such a receptive audience was incredibly rewarding, and it underscored the importance of collaboration and advocacy in advancing the cause of Latino empowerment and inclusion.
