Latinitas is excited to bring to you “Media Chica: Workshops,” a series of webinars led by innovative Latinas and Women of Color in the media field!
We have updated and improved our program to better serve our students! Each webinar will focus on a different topic that helps elevate and teach skills to high school and college students becoming young professionals.
In our first talk of the series, we will be covering SOCIAL MEDIA. We are honored to have Silvia Higareda, a Senior Manager of Digital Content Strategy & Production as our keynote speaker.
Higareda will present best practices for LinkedIn and Twitter. Participants will learn how to use social media to their advantage when it comes to building their network, promoting their media works, and being a news analyst and critic.
