Latinitas has partnered with Facebook to bring Engineer For The Week to our chicas! Engineer For The Week is a national, after school STEM program that introduces historically underrepresented learners (ages 11-18) to engineering. Latinitas has implemented the STEM curriculum into our after school program to bring our chicas more opportunities than ever!
Over the course of 15 hours, our chicas will build tech prototypes that address current social issues. Upon completing the program, our chicas will explore engineering, develop computer science skills and gain awareness of different career paths.
Club Latinitas is our free and virtual after school program offered to girls of all backgrounds, 3rd-8th grade. Sessions are available Monday through Thursday 4-6pm. For more information visit www.latinitasmagazine.org/programs/club-latinitas/
